I have just recently gotten wind of the information that buprenorphine is a lot better than methadone when it comes to the treatment of drug addiction. It takes less dosage and the effects last much longer. I would like to find a drug rehab that administers this because a friend of mine is an addict and I would like to suggest for her to undergo buprenorphine treatment.

My husband was just admitted to Sunrise House in Lafayette,Nj. This is his first time in rehab. It is a 28 days program but the people who work there tell me we will get lucky if they let him stay for 10 days. Why do they do this?

Hes addicted to pain killers! he will do what ever he can find including chewing pain patches, im scared for his life and we have 2 small children. We havent been together for awhile now because he used to do other kinds of drugs (cocaine,meth,x) I cant deal with this anymore I care about him but cant watch him go down this road anymore and it doesnt help ive told his dr about his addiction and he continues to give him 120 hydrocodone 10mg can I do anything???
