From a Catholic Perspective Is Smoking Weed a Sin?
Question by Matt: From a Catholic perspective is smoking weed a sin?
And I only want answers from people know the facts about weed. Not that government anti weed propaganda. Also keep in mind it’s less harmful to your body than cigs and alcohol which according to the church is perfectly fine in moderation. Also ignore the fact of obeying civil law.
Here’s your scenario. I’m a practicing catholic who very involved at church and in the community. And I live in Colorado “were its legal” I smoke responsibly in moderation, and its not effecting my life, family, or faith in any way shape or form. Is it a sin.
P.S I know my faith. And I know what it says about drugs without a medicinal reason. And just for that sake lets not classify it as a drug. Lets classify it as a plant that god created for man to use just like everything else god gave to man. The only reason it’s a “drug” today is because the federal government decided that it was.
Also drunkerd doesn’t mean don’t drink, it means don’t be an alcoholic.
