    very well done video?

  • pinkymixology says:

I can’t take that? accent seriously. Just like a German accent will always be scary.

  • Ricky Boggs says:

Really, you watched the whole video and are disappointed in it specifically becasue of the generic picture used in the first slide? We originally recorded Dr. Norton giving the presentation but the room was too dark and decided to overlay the slides. Don’t discount the message? because of the slide. I’ll be the first to tell you that “these people” are not laughing at anyone. The video is made to be informational and helpful and has had a positive of impact on thousands.

  • Ricky Boggs says:

this post isn’t bigoted at all. Just because a person has an accent doesn’t? make them anti-prop 8, nor does it make them a bible nutcase. Please readdress your comments to the WBC where they are more appropriately inappropriate.

  • Ricky Boggs says:

Thanks! Both e-mail addresses should be good, if you have problems talking with Dr. Norton, please let me know! I will be going through comments? today and deleting irrelevant or inane comments. Thanks!

  • Do Mingion says:

This was excellent explanation. The email you posted is different then the one? Dr. Norton says on the video – are both good? Also, is it possible for YouTube to remove the person is selling drugs in their comment below? For that matter all the irrelevant remarks.

  • ChannelingusLLCIM says:

To be clear in what I am confused about: If you take the average person and give them regular doses of morphine they will become addicted.? If you then wean that person off the morphine they won’t have future cravings once the drug is out of their system. But, some people who are addicted crave the drug the rest of their life, how come? What’s different about those people who continue to crave? Lifelong craving is what I don’t understand

  • ChannelingusLLCIM says:

I’m confused about something. People start drinking because of some emotional problem or trauma right? Well once that problem is addressed they shouldn’t have the urge to drink? Then why do alcoholics need to abstain from alcohol for the rest of their lives? What changes in their brain that makes them crave alcohol even though the? problem that caused them to seek relief from alcohol has been removed?

  • pinkymixology says:

I can’t take this seriously. lol …a hyucklebuck accent… the one’s who hat prop 8? and want to tell kids in Kansas that all life …I don’t have time, you bible nutcase. hyuck. Go vote against that Evo-Lution and that there racial iner-grashion! Hyuck!

  • sheila helmer says:

  • Jon Slater says:

  • George Carman says:

Very instructive, and true to life! I’ve quit now since 2000.? If you click my profile you can trace what worked for me and what didn’t….

  • TyroneMardley says:

“Brain adaptions”. When doing opiates, your dopamine receptors destroy themselves for self preservation. This is known as a “tolerance”. You would have to go off all opiates to restore your endorphins and dopamine.?

  • nattiesgrammy says:

explain, please, not sure what neural adaptions means.
    ,?

  • TyroneMardley says:

Marijuana doesn’t impact your brain on the same level as other drugs. It’s been shown to restore myelin, and increases dopamine levels about the same as sex/food.?

  • TyroneMardley says:

    No. There’s still? neural adaptions.

  • nattiesgrammy says:

will dophamine replinish while an addict is on methadone? I wouldn’t think so. but? have not ran across this info anywhere.

  • nattiesgrammy says:

If I knew then what I know now, not sure? if it would have made a difference, but sure makes me wish I had had this info 15 years ago.

  • julzzzzzzzzzzz says:

I know this because they are harder to? get off than heroin….. I’ve had them all

  • nattiesgrammy says:
